Vancouver girl is my second wig. And I’ve worn it quite a bit since I first got it. Here’s the basic info: Freetress Vancouver Girl. It’s a full cap wig with a comb in the front and two combs in the back. It has a loose wave. According to the website it can also be worn as a half wig. I got it from www.clairhair.com and it is also available at www.hairsisters.com. When I ordered it I paid $19.99.
One of the things that I like about both websites is that it shows you the wig on a manequin and from several angles. To me it gives me as close to a hands-on store experience as possible.
I ordered my wig in TP1B/33. I really liked the color…it’s just a hint of dark brown. You can’t tell that in the pictures below, but if you refer back to my 1st wig that was just 1B, this one doesn’t look so black and stark against my skin. And just a sidebar on the pictures below: the first picture was before I went to my company Christmas party. And the second picture was after several drinks after the party! lol So my makeup had worn off and my eyes were red. But I had played with the hair a little bit and decided to take a pic of it.
What inspired me to try this wig is this youtube video:
I really liked how it looked on her versus how it looks on the model because I wouldn’t have gotten it based on the model pictured. It doesn’t look right on her. So now for my review: I like this wig overall. I wore it several days to work and it allowed me to do that. Very lightweight and easy to wear. I did have to pull the edges down by the ears and bobbypin it to make it feel more secure. Those of you that wear wigs know what that’s about. Overall I definitely would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars!
