Now for my review or my thoughts rather, on the Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation. I tried it out for a full week. It’s not for me. It’s too shimmery, too much sheen. It comes off as shiny on me and I felt like I needed to reapply powder thru out the day. A dupe for this is the Revlon PhotoReady Foundation. And quite frankly it comes down to a matter of what you like. I think if you’re younger and maybe have clearer skin, this may work for you. So maybe as a college-aged young woman I would’ve worn this. That was before kids, before acne and skin imperfections. It doesn’t provide enough coverage for me. The payoff comes off well to others. I’ve gotten compliments on it and my hubby liked it, but I didn’t so it had to go back. I’m not going to hold on to a $30 foundation if I don’t like it. So I will stick with the StudioFinish Foundation and will eventually try out some of the other foundation options MAC offers. But for now I’m satisfied with the products I have. For now I’m looking forward to adding to my lip and blush collection and eventually some more brushes.
I’m trying not to become a MAC whore…it’s easy to get addicted. But I know that I will start going to the MAC counter more and getting a lipstick here and there and a blush or two. Yeah it’s pricey but the product will last for a long time. I have a lipstick that I purchased when I got my wedding makeup done and I still have it to this day. It’s a good lipstick, I just don’t wear it often. So when I have time, I will set up an appointment to get a couple of looks done and pic up some products. But for now I’m good to go. The only other thing that I really want right now is the FixPlus spray and I plan on ordering that from the website when I get my bonus.
