It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to blog, but I wanted to squeeze out a short one. Thankfully it’s Wednesday and it’s almost the weekend! Almost payday! Woot Woot! I’m looking forward to Saturday because I’ll be going to my first TurboKick class! A friend of mine recently became a certified instructor and there’s a free class this Saturday. It’s my hubby’s birthday but he’s cool w me going and I’m kinda excited! Speaking of working out, your girl has been doing the damn thang over here! lol So far this week I have been on my game with my eating and my very cut down drinking of the mountain dews and working out.
- Monday: Turbokick round 29 in the morning and 15 push ups and the pilates one hundred
- Tuesday: Punch,Kick and Jam in the morning and 20 minutes pilates after work and 17 pushups at night
- Wednesday (today): Turbo 101- it’s the 30 minute workout on my Fan Volume 1 dvd…my phone charger has been acting up and my phone was dead when I woke up this morning. Luckily I woke up in time to workout but not enough time to do the full round. And I will be doing at least 17 pushups when I finish this blog.
So I’m hella proud right now 🙂 I’m focused man! {in the words of 50 Cent} This morning I tried on a pair of size 12 pants that are brand new and I’ve had for almost a year…they came all the way up and zipped! They’re too tight to wear now, but I know they’d fit in a couple of weeks. Especially with the pilates. I’ve loved pilates since I first discovered it and it just works wonders for my body. You don’t need any fancy equipment, you just need to know how to engage your core. It’s both super beneficial with toning my body but it’s also very relaxing for me and at the same time causes me to break a sweat. Also doing the pushups have, I feel, made my punches, speedbags, basically any arm movement I do doing my cardio, that much more effective.
On the schedule for tomorrow is Round 29 again. Frankly I’m not that much a fan of Round 28, mainly because it’s in a different setting and I can’t really hear the music at a regular volume. It’s rare that I have the opportunity to do a full cardio workout when the house is empty to be able to hear the music well. So anyway, this wasn’t supposed to be this long, lol, just wanted to do a quick blog 🙂
