Don’t you hate when you go into a movie expecting one thing but instead you get something from the complete other side of the spectrum??? Yeah…introducing Love Happens. Meet the movie that is considered a romantic comedy, but instead should be in the drama category under “tear jerkers”. This movie had me crying non-stop and not because I was happy, but because I was so sad, and the stories in the movie are sad and will have you sobbing uncontrollably. So much so that, you’re left wondering what the hell did you just watch? Because I wanted a feel good romantic comedy, instead I got a story about losing loved ones in dramatic ways…I don’t want to spoil it for you if you’ve never seen the movie and you intend to…but this was definitely a forgettable movie to say the least. I kinda expected more since I usually love Jennifer Aniston movies…I mean her, Julia Roberts, and Jennifer Lopez usually deliver in their roles. And I’ve seen movies just because they were in it, because they were in it and yet, this just wasn’t one of those movies that I would like just because one of my fave actresses were in it. I gave this movie 2 stars, which to netflix means ” I didn’t like it.”
