OMG how refreshing is it to have a 3 day weekend??? It’s like the bestest thing ever!! And for my readers, it means more blogs from me! I just don’t have the kind of time and energy to blog during the week usually. My job is very draining. Mentally draining, physically because I’m talking to over 100 customers a day. Some have more sense than others. It’s just exhausting. Blogging makes me feel better, even though I don’t vent about my job. It’s definitely a part of my weekend routine, that’s for sure. I usually get up early with the kids, get my coffee in, pull up a few pages…blogger, facebook, youtube and my tweetdeck…and that’s what I do for most of the day on and off. I may come to my blogger to look at other blogs during the week, but I usually do most of my blogging and youtube watching on the weekends.
I will say that’s one of the bright-sides of my job: we get most banker’s holidays off. I work for an auto lender, but because I work in customer service, we don’t get all bank holidays off. There’s like two we don’t get, I wanna say Veteran’s Day and President’s Day or MLK day. So it’s nice to have an extra day off from that place! Especially since last night was the fireworks. It wouldn’t have been so nice to have such a late bedtime and have to turn around and get up for work the next morning. It was Jordan’s first fireworks and he did well. There was another baby, that looked about his age, that was close to us and as soon as the fireworks started, they had to leave because the baby was like traumatized. Jordan whined a bit between fireworks, but I think that was because it was wayyy past his bedtime. Brianna enjoyed them. We only went for her. The hubby wants to go to a big city or something to see fireworks. I will agree with that. It’s like, can we get a really huge awesome fireworks show?? I guess not in G-Vegas you can’t. I’ve been here for several years and it’s kinda been the same show. Like in 2010 can we get a little suped up show?? All in all, it was great for memories. I love things like fireworks and the fair and things like that, for forming memories for our kids. Brianna remembers everything. She remembers the last time we took her to the fireworks, which was 2 years ago, like it was yesterday.
Yeah, this blog doesn’t have much of a point to it! lol I’m just so glad to be off. I have a few blogs that I will be posting today. Maybe make some more edits. I’ve been adding a few tweaks here and there. Thank you for reading!
