It’s that time again…another hair weekend, and the decision of what style to do??? Well this weekend, the dilemma was…the hair definitely needs to be washed and re-done, but daycare is closed next week…so I wanted something that wouldn’t take forever, and at the same time, would be easy to take back out and re-do next weekend if needed. The hubby suggested doing cornrows straight back. To me, that’s more difficult, just because Brianna has sooo much hair, that the simpler the style, the more complicated it is for me. Now if I do a few rows of cornrows that’s easier but then I didn’t want that either. So I decided on a few rows of box braids with a ponytail. I’ve never done box braids before. Frankly, it’s more about the parting than it is the braiding. You’re just making boxes and braiding. I did three rows in the back. I was going to do two, but my top row was uneven, so I had to add another row. Then I triangled off sections on top, and made a ponytail. Nothing too difficult, just a child that doesn’t wanna sit still and a 20 month old who wants to be a toddler boy, basically to sum it up in a nutshell. The biggest hassle of doing her hair, is her being still and cooperating. The fact that my blowdryer comb broke today doesn’t help either. But this is the outcome…
