I wanted to come do a post real quick before I take a shower and get ready for tomorrow. Today was my first day to workout this week. Here’s the story… This weekend was super hot, and our AC in our house is crappy to put it nicely, so it was ridiculously hot Sunday evening. I was braiding Bri’s hair and it was already past their bathtime, when I got the most horrific pain in my stomach…like, I’m not gonna go into detail, but long story short…I got no sleep that night. Between my stomach and how effin hot it was in our bedroom, I saw almost every hour of the night. It always happens that way to me: When I’m really gonna start a plan, something happens to cause me to not get sleep so that I can do it. But anyway, Mondays are my overtime days anyway, so after getting no sleep, working over 9 hours…Tuesday wasn’t any easier! I got wonderful sleep Monday night, but definitely needed a lot more. The good thing about Tuesday is that I started drinking my green tea w ginseng and I definitely could feel the ginseng! Usually I drink the green tea w lemon at work…I’ve started back so that I cut back on my soda intake and because it helps my voice at work…but when I went to re-up at Walmart, they only one with lemon had ginseng, so I gave it a try. Thanks to my tea, I came home and put away laundry, washed dishes, and got our clothes together for today! (yayy me! lol) Today I was hoping the tea would have the same effect, but I was sooo sleepy today. I slept well last night, and got up and did TuboKick 101…I did the 30 min one bc I haven’t worked out in a minute and bc of time since I had overtime this morning…I also took my measurements this morning (eek!!) Now I’m going to get things ready for the morning and get ready for bed. I didn’t want a few days to go by without an update, it’s how I’m holding myself accountable.
