I’ve wanted to post an update for the past few days but haven’t really had the chance to. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. Mine was good. Are you a Black Friday shopper? I’m not because I can’t stand a lot of people around me and in my way. That didn’t steer me away from the weekend specials that I found at JCPenney. That’s a separate blog post tho…anyway onto my mission to make myself better. This week I have worked out 3 times which I would have liked to do more, but I’m proud of what I’ve done. Monday and Wednesday I did Turbokick 101 to ease my body back into it. I had my alarm set for Thursday to wake up earlier but I didn’t wake up as early as planned, however I was able to fit in a full workout that morning. I did Turbokick Round 28 and loved it! So thankful that my back is feeling much better. So far I’ve lost an unofficial two pounds but I’m not stepping on the scale again until I’m off my cycle. Dontcha just love when it comes a few days early? smh.
So this week I’m going to incorporate two more things that I can start doing. First, I’m going to fix two mid-week meals. I’m going to make dinner the night before so that my hubby will have something he can heat up and eat. I already cook at least one meal on the weekends, which I will continue and I will also start making full breakfast on at least one weekend morning. I usually am fine with just my coffee in the mornings and let the kids eat what they want for breakfast. But I decided that I should cook breakfast at least one day. The other thing I will start this week, is more personal and I won’t share it on my blog. But I have written it down in my journal so that will be occurring too. I’ve started reading a self-help book and will continue this week.
I just wanted to take a minute to post an update. Now it’s back to the laundry that always has my name on it.
