This is the infamous Beauty Tag that has been around for at least a year now…I’ve wanted to do it for awhile so decided to make it a blog post 🙂 Enjoy and you are officially tagged!!!

40 BEAUTY QUESTIONS:

SKINCARE

-How many times do you wash your face daily? honestly once on average, if I’m good I do it twice daily
-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo) I have oily combination skin
-What is your current facial wash? Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Acne Scrub and Oil of Olay cream wash for oily skin
-Do you exfoliate? Yes but not regularly
-What brand do you use? Brand of what? Right now I’m not brand specific on my skincare.
-What moisturizer do you use? Honestly right now I’m using shea butter or Huggies Sensitive Skin baby lotion – this is because I need to invest in another moisturizer and haven’t yet.
-Do you have freckles? No
-Do you use eye cream? No but I need to start
-Do you or did you have acne prone skin? Yes I do after having children, I did not prior to babies.
-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ? Yes after having my daughter it worked in 2 weeks and didn’t work at all after having my son…I went thru a 2 month supply and nothing whatsoever.

MAKE-UP

-What foundation do you use? Currently MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in C7
-How about concealer? MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer and MAC Select Cover Up Foundation
-Do you know your undertone color? no not really, I think I have orange/pink undertones
-What do you think of fake eyelashes? I love them and am looking forward to mastering them.
-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months? Yes, I don’t always tho.
-What brand of mascara do you use? Drugstore brands always–Maybelline, Rimmel, L’oreal, etc
-Sephora or MAC? Both
-Do you have a MAC Pro-card? No, there’s nothing pro about me and makeup!
-What makeup tools do you use in make up application? Brushes
-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? yes
-For the face? yes sometimes
-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)? I love purples and blues
-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? In order of preference, cream, pencil, liquid
-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? Never have
-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? I would like to get into them eventually, currently have none.
-Do you use mineral makeup? I used to swear by Bare Minerals until after I had my son and my skin changed.
-What is your favorite lipstick? Right now it is Capricious by MAC
-How about lipgloss? Tea Rose by NYX
-What is your favorite blush to use? Right now my favorite blush is Dame by MAC
-Do you buy your makeup on ebay? I have before…NYX and Urban Decay…I wouldn’t try to buy MAC–it’s usually fake
-Do you like drugstore makeup? Yes
-Do you go to CCO’s? (cosmetic company outlets) I haven’t yet
-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? No but would like to get a few books
-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup? Usually no but we all make mistakes at times
-Name a makeup crime that you hate? I hate blush that’s not blended and the infamous line of demarcation with foundation.
-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones? I like colorful eyes with neutral lips
-Which celebrity always has great make up? Kim Kardashian, Kerry Washington and Keri Hilson
-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use? Foundation due to my skin
-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? Yes
-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? Yes but I look polished with makeup
-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? I haven’t tried enough to say what’s best…I have a lot that I like and want to try.
-What do you think of Makeup?? I love it and I love how just taking a few minutes to apply a few things can change your look and your outlook!
