I feel like I am bursting at the seams because I have so much info that I want to share but due to my computer limitations I can’t share them in the way that I would like. I would like to show you my coupon binder, share some tips and tricks that I learn from time to time, and more…but as of now I can only do so by my blog. I can’t post videos. I have recorded my coupon binder video but frankly, my computer is a butthole and videos as being an option are on hold until we get a new computer. On the bright side, the goal is to get a new computer with our state’s tax-free weekend right before school starts. So I’m planning on that. For now, it will be via posts and pics. So let’s get started with this post already!
I’ve been using coupons for awhile now. I would say that I’m still a newbie. Couponing has become my new hobby! And I love it. I’m a bit obsessed! But sometimes it can be a bit frustrating. So I’ve fine tuned a few tips thanks to some fellow savings bloggers and some youtube videos and want to share them with my readers.
You know how they say “there’s no such thing as a dumb question” well that’s a lie. There are so many dumb questions. So that my friends is why I’m no teacher! lol I personally feel that I would make a great company trainer, but no school teacher. I was recently invited to join a facebook group that was about coupons. Well like I said, I’m not a pro, but apparently compared to some of the people in the group, I am. When you’re in a facebook group it sends notifications of wall posts to your email. I like that because when I’m at work I can’t see that info on my facebook, so I like to stay in touch with what’s going on. But everytime I would get an email it was a stupid…or let me say simple question…like how do I find coupons? How do I use them? And I’m like, are you for real? Do people not know what google is? Make google your friend people!!! That’s what I did. And that’s what all those people on the Extreme Couponing tv show did…they wanted to find out how to save money…so they googled it…and the rest is history. So moral of the story is…I removed myself from the group because I don’t have much tolerance for ignorance. If you’re a part of a facebook group/page that is about sharing info…if you’re not gonna take the time to look thru the info before asking the repeated questions…that’s what irritates me. I deal with that all day at work. I don’t wanna deal with that in any other facet of my life.
Apparently this post is turning into a rant! lol I do apologize! I find new tips and tricks all of the time. It’s like a rush. The only thing that sucks is that I don’t have a decent computer and I don’t have a printer. So I get all of these notifications and tweets of new deals to scoop up but can’t always jump on them due to my lack of printing capabilities. And of course I work at a job that I can’t access hardly any external sites. So my options for right now are limited. But I won’t let these things stand in my way of savings! If you wanna join me be sure to follow my blog and check out my Savings Diva posts!
