It’s that time of year to start thinking Back To School. Sure it’s only July but depending on where you live, school can start as early as mid-August. I wanted to share with you how I save money on uniforms. First of all, hands down Walmart is the most cost effective choice when it comes to school uniforms. And Walmart.com is even sweeter. The reason why is that online they offer bundles. Like two skirts for $18. Four shirts for $15. All prices that are cheaper than buying singles of them.
I like to get a jump start on buying school uniforms because I want to ensure I can get enough of the things that I want in my daughter’s size. Last year I purchased in the stores and had the hardest time finding things in her size. It’s as if all the girls in my city are her size! lol The other night, I was itching to do some shopping. I had already planned on ordering some uniforms this weekend, but that money was burning a hole in my pocket so decdided to go ahead and order a couple of things. For some reason, even when I have extra money, I have a hard time spending a lot at a time. So I only got a couple of things and will have my hubby order some things next weekend. I’ll probably place another order myself too because I want to have a good amount of uniforms.
As you know, I’m all about the deal. I’m stingy with my money! So I’m all about making out with the best way to save me the most money. Here’s how I saved money with my purchase:
- Purchased thru Ebates. It’s as simple as logging on to Ebates and clicking on Walmart to shop. I earned 2% cash back on my purchase. Sweet!
- Walmart is offering free shipping to home on all uniform purchases. I love that because although I love online shopping, I hate paying for the shipping.
- Like I mentioned above, the bundle pricing is key to making your dollar stretch!
