Thanks to a lot of stress over the past several months, I’m happy to be where I am with my weightloss journey. It’s been the longest journey ever, but I’m getting there. And I’m getting pretty close to the finish line. I’m in the final stretch.
I’ve been holding on to 170.8lbs for the past week or so. And it’s been a transition with dealing with first week of school, new daycare situation, etc. So this week starts the final stretch. It’s the part that I both love and dread. I love it because of course I’m getting smaller and that in itself is great. Wearing smaller clothes and all. But at the same time, it means less time for playing around. Let’s get it done already. Go hard. Push.
I’m less than 90 days away from my birthday. And no I don’t wish to calculate the exact number of days before I turn 30, but I believe it’s in the 60s. Over the weekend I’ve been stuck on . And I think last week, I found this pin and it made me decide that perhaps, I need to do something big for my birthday.
Now I seriously doubt I’ll be having some big bash or anything like that. But it did get my wheels turning. And then I came across this dress:
Being 100% honest…I could wear this dress now. Sure could. But those of you who actually know me, know that I would do no such thing! lol Spanx or not…I’m not toned enough yet. So that’s what I’m doing in this final stretch. Because yes, I look good in clothes now. But I want to look good without clothes on too. Now I know I can’t act as if I’ve magically had some plastic surgery…but I can make some drastic changes.
For some reason, just like the last time I did ChaLean Extreme…I’m struggling finishing the full Push Phase. But I’m going to give it another week before I go into the Lean Phase. Now before I fully make a workout schedule that includes the Lean Phase, I need to view it. Because the plan is to continue with CE 3x’s a week, Cardio on other days, and Pilates everyday. At minimum of doing Pilates abs daily. Reason being, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do a full Pilates circuit while on the Lean Phase. So with this week before many of my tv shows come back, I’ll try to start to preview the Lean Phase so I can make my workout schedule.
The overall focus is on lots of cardio and lots of ab work. Because that’s where the last 20-25lbs are stored. I have a little in my thighs and overall, but most of it’s in the last place that I like to work…the tummy. And although I know the powers of Pilates, it doesn’t make me want to do it. But it must get done. I’m not sure if I want to get to 45lbs…that’s always been my goal for as long as I can remember, but wherever my body stays between 140-150lbs is good for me. My size 8 Express jeans fit and fit good. I wore them out Friday night. I have no clothes hardly that I can really fit! But that’s a good problem to have!
I’m not sure what I’ll do yet for my birthday, but I know it involves this dress and the rest…I’ll be planning on Pinterest! So want an update to where I’m at now?
These were both taken this weekend. I meant to take a pic of me Friday night in my Express jeans but I was rushing and was hungover off of two drinks for the rest of the weekend and never got around to getting back dressed up to take the pic; which is what I planned to do. So here I go into the final stretch. No BS allowed. Time to just get it done so I can spend more time enjoying being the size 6 or 8, wherever my body decides to reside, so I can shop knowing I can truly shop. If you’ve ever lost weight you know what I mean! I’m really looking forward to buying some cute workout clothes, professional outfits, and bras and lingerie. {TMI: I can’t wait to get a chance to pop into Victoria’s Secret to get measured, because if my own self-measuring is correct, I’m down some sizes in my bra and that makes me oh so happy!}
