The forecast for today (Saturday) was that it was gonna start off really cold and there was a chance of flurries. Well you don’t have to tell me but one time, honey because I HATE the cold!! So I decided to go to the store on my lunch break at work and get the items I wanted from Harris Teeter.
My schedule at work will change in a couple of weeks, so hopefully if I need to go on a Friday it will work out better with the time I have the opportunity to go. The last few times I’ve gone to Harris Teeter on a Friday afternoon I have been so irritated by how busy it is! Like I’m sorry, does nobody work?
I didn’t get much. My list wasn’t long but some of the best values I was going for were gone. : (

Progresso Recipe Starters $1.39 coupon $0.50 x 2 = $0.39
Campbell’s Spahgettios $1 coupon 40 cents off 3 x 2 + evic coupon 40 cents off 3 = 3 for $1.20 or 40 cents each
Campbell’s Homestyle Soup $1.39 coupon $0.75/2 = $1.28 for 2 or $0.64 each
Quaker Chewy Bars $1.39 coupon $0.75/2 = $1.28 for 2 or $0.64 each
Hawaiian Punch 6ct bottles $1.67 coupon $1 = $0.67
Angel Soft 4ct roll $2.49 coupon $0.45 x 2 = $1.59 {there was a printable coupon for $0.50 but I went with what I had}
Triaminic meds for the kids $4.99 each coupon $5/2 = $4.98 for both or $2.49 each
You may recall that at the beginning of the month I got Triaminic meds for the kids. Well I had to get this too because like I’ve said, you can never have too many medicines on hand for your kids. This was a limited time high value coupon that would have expired today so it really couldn’t be beat.
The Oscar Meyer franks were on sale for $2.37
The Drano we needed but I figured I could find elsewhere cheaper. But DH has been asking me to get it for two weeks and I haven’t. Because I had a coupon I went ahead and got it here. It was $5.19 coupon $0.55 x 2 = $4.09.
Now I’m heading out to a store I’ve never been to but heard the deals are amazing….wish me luck!!
