I am always looking for more ways to save money. With more and more manufacturers and stores changing their coupon policies, it seems like it’s harder to get the savings from before. I saw in my email earlier this week that Food Lion is trying to make it a little bit easier to save at the grocery store.
I shop at Food Lion but they’re not my first stop because of their coupon policy or lack there of. I feel like over the years Food Lion has tried to up their coupon game but it was never enough. A couple of years ago, some of the Food Lion stores in the Raleigh market were doing a trial run of doubling coupons. I’m guessing that since that was a couple of years ago, they decided against it.
I’m not mad at them for trying to stay in the race in helping us save money on groceries. They’re introducing the MVP Coupon Hub. It’s very simple. Log on to foodlion.com/coupons and load the coupons straight to your MVP card. What I like is that a lot of the coupons are higher value that way you can really see the discount on your receipt. Not only will you find manufacturer coupons but also coupons on My Essentials and store brand products bringing your costs down even lower. An added bonus…soda coupons. Something that is very rare and far between in the land of coupons.
There’s no stacking or doubling at Food Lion. For their full coupon policy click here.
What I like about the MVP Coupon Hub is that it only takes minutes to save. So if you’re not big on couponing or your issue is that you always forget your coupons, then this is perfect for you. Just by simply loading to your card (which takes seconds, much faster than loading onto my VIC card with Harris Teeter) you will save money on what you would normally buy for your household.
To sweeten the deal Food Lion is offering a Save to Win sweepstakes!
Finding new ways to save is exciting to me, and I wanted to share with my readers. I’ve just loaded a bunch of coupons to my card and will be heading to Food Lion tomorrow. Does this make you more inclined to shop at Food Lion? Share with me below!
Kita there are apps like that, try Ibotta to start with!!
I love food lion they closed the ones that were here in GA but I am use to them in my hometown of SC. I love saving money I need an app that I can just "cut" coupons on to and go from there.
