Next week marks the unofficial start of summer with Memorial Day!  I must admit, I’m not ready for our first full summer in our new city.  It’ll be an adjustment to say the least.  The kids won’t be in summer camp so I’m trying to figure out the best course of action with that.  Although I’m not ready for the kids to be out of school, and out of their routine,  what I am ready for is lots of pool days!  I’m so glad our townhouse community has a swimming pool to help us beat the heat!

Which got me thinking, that I need to get the kids new swimsuits stat!  And there lies the dilemma.  Now that I’m the daughter of a teenager, an age appropriate swimsuit or two is definitely needed.  In case you’re like me (procrastinator) , and need to get your teen daughter some swimwear too, I’ve rounded up a few options.

When it comes to bathing suits, we’re past the age of Justice.  I mourn the days of shopping at Justice.  If you have a tween daughter I’ve included a few cute options from Justice.  My daughter really loved their swimsuits.  Right now all of their swimsuits are on sale for $15!! That’s when I would buy them is when they went on sale : )

So what’s appropriate for a 14 year old?  Well that’s up to you but Brianna likes one pieces and she likes bikinis but she prefers the high waist bottoms and some coverage up top.  Fingers crossed she always wants to stay modest : )

Many of the swimsuits I’m sharing below are great styles for teenage girls and adults too.  We don’t necessarily want to bare it all just because we’re at the beach or the pool am I right?  I actually have a similar swimsuit to the black one shoulder one piece that I scored at Old Navy a couple of weeks back for only $15!  It was one of those one day only deals and I’m glad I snagged it.  I hate spending too much on a swimsuit.  It’s on sale right now for $25 which is still half off!
