We all love Amazon don’t we? Ever since I signed up for Amazon Prime I’ve always loved shopping with them. In 2020 that became even more apparent. Even when Prime didn’t mean what it used to mean. We did a lot of shopping with Amazon in my household over this past year. There were some hits and some misses, but there were some true standout favorites too. Today I’m going to share with you my Amazon favorites for 2020. Perhaps you’ll find a new favorite too!

AMAZON HOME FAVORITES
Let’s start with my favorite category…all things home! I shopped a lot at Amazon for home decor and functional items, but these have made it into my personal favorite finds. There’s a bit of everything in this list from kitchen needs. to decorative pieces to one of my favorite furniture pieces I have.
photo frames · toaster · candlestick holders · flameless candles · lint bin · accent table · grill · vacuum · tiered tray · tapered candlesticks
Wooden photo frames – I like these frames so much that I purchased them in several sizes. Originally I got a set of 8×10 frames, they come in a set of four. Once they came I loved the look and quality of them so much that I ordered an additional set in the 8×10 size, a set of four in the 5×7 size and a two pack of the 11×14 size.
Needless to say I definitely love these frames! Picture frames can get so pricey and I really wanted a matching collection. I ended up using the 8×10 size frames to create a gallery wall in our upstairs hallway.
Cuisinart toaster – Our previous toaster was on it’s last leg and before we moved I decided to get a new one. A fellow blogger, Megan at Honey We’re Home, shared this toaster on her blog and said she really liked it. I liked the look and figured I’d give it a try.
We don’t have the space to store away appliances like this so I’m glad that it looks nice on my countertop. Frankly, it’s a toaster and it toasts toast! I don’t need it to do much other than that. Thankfully it does that rather well.
Black candlestick holders – During the holidays I got these black candlestick holders for my mantel. I like the sleek look to them.
Flameless candles – I have a few sets of flameless candles from different brands and these are my favorite. Not only do they look real, but the wick moves in a very realistic way. Now can you get more realistic flameless candles? Yes. At this price point? No.
Lint Bin – Even my husband will admit that this is an Amazon favorite of his too! Our laundry room isn’t a room, it’s a closet in our hallway. One day I was browsing on Amazon looking for something else and this lint bin popped up. I was intrigued.
It pops right on my dryer with it’s magnet and is easy to just pop the lint into every time we do laundry. It comes with a burlap liner but I don’t use that. Also I put any trash I pull from pockets in it too. Something that you don’t need but is nice to have.
Barn door accent table – Early in the year I purchased this farmhouse accent table, after much deliberation. I’m so glad I did because we needed more storage options. Gotta love a barn door that slides to hide the mess!
Not only does it make for nice decor but it also contains all of my planners and planner supplies. It’s not only one of my Amazon favorites but it’s one of my favorite pieces period!
Chargriller grill – A gift from my in-laws, we got this grill from Amazon after Lowe’s cancelled our order for the exact same grill. If you’ve purchased anything like furniture or appliances in 2020 you know so much was on backorder. I know people who are still dealing with that now.
This grill was a beast to put together. But once we did, we used this grill thoroughly! I definitely recommend this grill and we also purchased the accompanying grill cover.
Cordless Vacuum – We moved from having majority carpet floors to this home where the first floor is completely laminate hardwoods. So I knew that I would need a cordless vacuum that could easily vacuum both the floors and the rugs. Because I hate sweeping!
After researching affordable, budget friendly vacuum options I settled on this one. I can’t compare it to a name brand, because I’ve never owned or used a Dyson for example. But for my needs this vacuum does great! And I like that it can be used as a handheld vacuum too.
Tiered tray – Ya’ll know I love my tiered trays! This is my mid-size tier tray and I love it and recommend it all of the time. Because it’s sturdy and I love the rustic farmhouse look. Currently I have it style in my everyday tier tray decor before I transition to Valentine’s decor. (Related: Easter Tiered Trays)
Flameless Tapered Candles – To go in my candlestick holders I wanted flameless tapered candles. This is my second set I purchased because I like the way this flickers versus the ones I originally bought. They’re realistic with their real wax touch and look nice even if they’re not lit.
AMAZON LIFESTYLE FAVORITES
I shopped for a lot of other items in addition to home decor. These are my Amazon lifestyle favorites from 2020. From organizing your home to tuning the world out, to fitness and beauty finds, here’s what made it on my must haves list.
wireless headphones · mini tap measure · sound machine · thermometer · pantry labels · scale · ring light tripod · vanity mirror · step platform · phone holder
wireless headphones – My husband used to have a pair of Beats wireless headphones with noise cancelling and I wanted something similar when I was looking for a small amount of quiet in my very noisy house. After browsing around, and wanting to avoid the higher price tag of the Beats headphones, I found these wireless headphones on Amazon.
They’re noise cancelling and hold a charge very well. I use them all the time when I’m on my work meetings and when I’m cleaning up around the house. Of course I had to get them in pink!
tape measure – I don’t know about you but there are some things that I always seem to misplace…scissors, tape, screwdrivers, tape measure. I ordered this tape measure to be a backup option since I always seemed to lose our main tap measure. (we now have three by the way)
This tape measure is pretty small and I keep it in my handbag for when I’m on the go. It’s nice for when shopping for furniture or home decor to measure an item in the store.
sound machine – Shortly after moving in to our current home we put the Xbox in the bonus room. Our walls are thin so I would always hear my son talking on the game when I was trying to sleep. So I got a sound machine to help drown out the noise. It has lots of sounds from white noise to beach and rain and you can set a timer for it.
touchless thermometer – Just like I always lose my tape measure, I also tend to lose thermometers. I still haven’t found our old one by the way. Of course with all that’s going on we all wanted to get touchless thermometers. We’ve used this a lot and it gives a reading really quickly.
Honestly I paid more than what it is at now because it was during the height of the pandemic.
pantry labels – Whenever I finally get my pantry organized I will show these in use. That’s still a very long work in progress. But I love these pantry labels. They come in different fonts and this is my favorite font because it’s closer to how I write.
There’s also a set of laundry organization labels that I’d like to get (another work in progress) and bathroom organization labels (yes, another work in progress). I just added them both to my cart because this is the year of organization!
smart scale – Nobody wants to buy a scale I know but last year I replaced my old digital scale with this smart scale. My digital scale would fluctuate by several pounds depending on if I stepped on it with my right foot first or my left foot first. So annoying.
I’ve had this smart scale for almost a year and I like that I get an accurate weight. It syncs with it’s own app and sends the data to my Fitbit and My Fitness Pal apps. It gives way more information than just weight, such as BMI, body water, body fat, muscle mass and more. (Related: Amazon Hits & Misses)
ring light tripod – One of my more recent Amazon purchases is this ring light with tripod. I was influenced by someone on Instagram during Prime Day. I was skeptical but I must admit that this is a really good tripod. I started using this for some of my holiday pictures and I hope to start using the ring light more this year and try to get in front of the camera more.
vanity mirror – I got this because I needed a mirror with better lighting. Our lighting in our bathroom isn’t great and I need more than just the standard light in our bedroom. Someone I follow on Instagram shared a different mirror that was more expensive and Amazon suggested this one.
I use it every time I do my makeup and can use it in my bedroom or bathroom. It comes with a mini 10X magnified mirror which honestly, they could’ve kept that. You may like it more than me, it does come with a suction cup to attach to the main mirror.
step aerobics bench – In my quest to get more active I wanted to find something for working out at home. I’ve loved some of my workout programs but they weren’t as easy for me to get back into. So I thought, what was something I used to love that isn’t difficult? Step aerobics!
Step bench platforms can get pretty pricey! I got the Amazon Basics step platform and it’s been very sturdy. I like that it’s a full size bench, not the shorter one and that it comes with risers so you can advance with it.
cell phone stand – Last item is this cell phone stand. We have a few of them. Pretty self explanatory, they’re great for holding your phone. We all like using them.
Where would we be without Amazon? I always like to see what people buy so I can check it out and see if it’s something I want or need or would like to try. You tell me, what are your favorite Amazon must haves? I’m always looking for more things to add to cart! And more Amazon favorites to add to my list 🙂
