Welcome to the Lauren Paige house! Isn’t she so pretty! This house features four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and is 3,836 square feet. At the time of viewing, it was listed at $775,000. I shudder to think about how much it would be now. Ouch! This housing market is a beast!
The exterior of this home is definitely right up my alley. I love the combination of the stone facade and the shaker siding.
The front door is so beautiful, this picture doesn’t even do it justice. I especially love the privacy glass so you still get all of the natural light without anyone being able to see into your home.
HOME OFFICE
Right off the foyer is the home office that features custom wainscoting trim. I love a big window and the office being off the front of the house. If you work from home you can keep an eye on all the comings and goings of the neighbors.
From here you can see the location of the home office.
The stairs are in the foyer but they’re not right in your face as soon as you open the door. They still allow for an open flow from the foyer into the family room and I love that.
DINING ROOM
There are even more stunning architectural details in the dining room. I love the planked cathedral ceiling accented by the stained wood beams. This table isn’t a good fit for the room, but you can see that the dining room can accommodate a much larger scale table.

Vertical shiplap behind the built-in floating shelves give the space that extra something to make it special. They help to draw your eyes up and away from the storage drawers we all need in our family room.
From this view, you can see the powder room is across from the stairs, next to the dining room. Sorry I couldn’t get pictures without people in them…it comes with the territory.
What I love about the family room is how open and airy it is. It doesn’t feel overly stuffy and formal. You can definitely dress it up or down depending on your design style.
KITCHEN
Let’s talk about this kitchen that you know I obviously am obsessed with! What else is new right? Seriously I love a white kitchen but I also love the stained wood cabinets too.
Back in the day, like years ago, I would’ve wanted a dark wood kitchen. This kitchen gives me the best of both worlds. I get the majority of my cabinetry being white and then an accent wall and island in this beautiful stained wood that’s the perfect tone. Not too dark and not too light.
Take a look at the white planked ceiling! I love it all!
Anytime additional storage is added into the island I am a fan. And these bar stools are super cute. They’re very similar to the popular Serena & Lily bar stools but I found them for a fraction of the price.
I’ve rounded up a few bar stool options including the Serena & Lily styles. I love the black and white colors they give it more of a modern edge, but honestly I love them all.

BREAKFAST NOOK AND SCREENED PORCH
The beautiful planked ceilings continue into the breakfast nook.
Off of the breakfast nook is access to the large screened porch. I love all of the architectural details in this space.
From the screened porch you can also access the oversized deck. This space is perfect for family gatherings and grilling out.
PANTRY/SCULLERY
Off the dining room, is the pantry and scullery. It extends almost to the range to give you an idea of how large it is. It’s a beautiful space! Full of storage and prep space.
Some people may prefer a traditional walk in pantry, but I think this would work well too, especially with the pull out drawers. There is so much storage in the kitchen and scullery, it’s like a dream!
BUTLER’S PANTRY
Between the dining room and the kitchen, and across from the scullery is the butler’s pantry. I like that it’s not overly done, it’s nice and classic. You can’t go wrong with shaker style cabinets and black pulls am I right?!
MASTER BATHROOM
The master bedroom wasn’t staged and the picture I took didn’t come out very well due to the windows. It’s a lovely space though. But the real star of the master suite is the bathroom.
You can see the wood floors extend from the main living space into the master bedroom. The blue barn door leads us into the master bathroom.

The master bathroom features a dark, navy blue vanity with bronze/gold hardware.
The zero entry shower is so spacious and truly feels like a spa.
I also love the touches of shiplap behind the bathtub and vanity.
MASTER CLOSET
The master closet is off of the bathroom and has floor to ceiling storage to maximize the space.
LAUNDRY ROOM
The laundry room is located right off of the master suite and is also off of the garage and mudroom. It provides lots of storage which I like. What I don’t like, and this is just personal preference, is the space for the washer and dryer.
I prefer a top load washer, and when they build it in like this, it forces you to go with a front load. It’s one of those things where you have to pick what’s more important to you. I like the space for folding when it’s built in, but I prefer the functionality of a top load washing machine.
MUD ROOM
The mudroom is right off of the garage across from the laundry room. The Lauren Paige house features a three car garage. Although this mudroom space isn’t overly large, it’s tucked away and provides adequate storage for a standard size family.
SECOND FLOOR
On the second floor there are three bedrooms, a theatre and game room. This is considered the theatre room. We probably wouldn’t use this as a theatre room. For us, it would be a bonus room or a workout room.
The game room is oversized and extends over the single car garage. It’s perfect for a pool table and allows for more furnishings too. If you have smaller kids it would also make the perfect play room.
From the foyer you can see these open shelves upstairs. They provide a space for storage and decor. The shelves flank the opening to the theatre room.
One of the things I love seeing in more homes is the attention to detail in the upstairs hallway. I like the hallway to be open and spacious and not feel like a tunnel. By adding decorative accents like floating shelves and built-in bookcases it makes the space more special.
MORE HOUSES WITH UNIQUE HALLWAYS:
Each of the bedrooms upstairs has a walk-in closet. Here is an example of one of them…I would have loved to have a closet like this growing up!
One of the bedrooms has it’s own ensuite that I got a picture of. I love the size of the shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom with a double vanity and separate bathtub and space. It’s not a jack and jill setup but it’s conveniently located between the other two bedrooms.
All in all I really loved the Lauren Paige house! The only thing I would add is a guest bedroom on the main floor. Other than that, I could totally see my family living in this house! It’s in one of my favorite neighborhoods that I discovered last year.
