It’s always so fun to tour a model home and get tons of design inspiration. Today’s Parade of Homes tour is a model home, the Statesville by Caruso Homes. Caruso Homes builds houses in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
Come on in and let me show you what makes The Statesville house so special! Be sure to pin what inspires you!
The Statesville house has five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and is 3,509 square feet. It’s located in Cary, North Carolina. At the time of touring this home in the Fall of 2021, it was listed at $920,721 which includes all of the extras. This is a model home after all. The base price at the time was $754,900. Huge difference!
The exterior is very nice! You get brick, board and batten and horizontal siding so there’s a lot of visual interest.
Off of the entry is the home office. Not pictured is the oversized closet which is great for office storage or in my case, probably seasonal decor storage 😉
From this view you can see the access to the home office right off of the front door. There are engineered hardwood floors throughout the first floor.
The Statesville model by Caruso Homes formal dining room with tray ceiling and beautiful millwork.
The butler’s pantry isn’t flashy but it’s functional and offers plenty of storage for serverware and less used items.
Across from the butler’s pantry is the walk in pantry with an ample amount of storage space.
There was a time when I didn’t want a white kitchen and instead a beautiful darker kitchen like this one was my idea of perfection. Now I prefer a white kitchen but I’ll tell you, if this was the kitchen in a house I’d leave it just like this. Because it’s beautiful!
The 9 foot island offers uninterrupted surface area atop the quartz waterfall countertop.
This kitchen offers an abundance of storage and as an added bonus, the kitchen sink faces the windows to the covered porch.
The informal dining area is between the kitchen and family room. This open layout is perfect for entertaining.
The garage entry is behind the kitchen which is something I appreciate. There’s an adequate sized mudroom as well.
On the first floor is a guest bedroom with a dedicated bathroom. I don’t think I took a picture but their is a separate powder room on the opposite side of the house near the stairs.
Now let’s head upstairs and see the rest of the Statesville house.
Look at the beautiful trimwork in the stairway!
At the top of the stairs is an open loft space with hardwood floors.
The space is able to be broken up into a multi-purpose room for everyone in the family to enjoy.
This bedroom is listed as a second guest bedroom. It has a private bathroom whereas the other two bedrooms access a shared bathroom in the hallway. One great perk of touring a model home is they decorate all of the bedrooms so there’s lots of decorating inspiration!
The owner’s suite features gray walls with board and batten and gray ceiling.
You can see just how large the primary bedroom is!
Aren’t double doors into the bathroom such a luxurious feeling? To me yes, but that’s also because I feel like our doorway into our primary en suite is exceptionally narrow! haha
I love the separate vanities especially with so much counterspace and storage!
This secondary bedroom is a really good size that can accommodate at least what appears to be either a full or queen size bed, a full size nightstand, a desk and dresser.
The last bedroom is a little smaller that the other two, but is still a decent size.
The laundry room is on the second floor as well in case you were wondering.
That wraps up the Statesville Parade of Homes tour! Overall I really like this home. It has a good square footage and an overall good flow. Let me know what you think!
