Admittedly I’ve been in a bit of a creative drought when it comes to decorating in my home. But the drought is over! I’m excited to get back into decorating and I’m starting with my entryway. For me the entryway is a great space to get my decorating juices flowing again because it’s a small space that makes a big impact. If you’d like to get some 4th of July decorating ideas keep reading for my patriotic styled entryway.

buffet lamp • wall mirror • console table • flag pillow • flag banner • woven basket • woven vase • linen tray • nailhead accent chair • blue star pillow
When I got this flag banner I wasn’t sure if I was loving it. It’s a bit more burlap than it appeared (even though it clearly says it). But then I got the idea of draping it across my mirror.
So I cut the banner and used thumbtacks to hold it in place. I’m not sure yet where I’ll use the rest of the banner, but I’m sure I’ll think of something.
I kept the florals simple in my woven vase. These seeded green stems are from Target, I’ve had them for several months now.
The blue and white canister was a recent find at Michael’s for 60% off. I can’t find it on their site right now. Originally I planned to use it on my bathroom floating shelves.
The home sweet home sign I got from Hobby Lobby last year I think. I added a small plant behind it to fill out the tray.
In my Patriotic Decor Haul on my YouTube channel I shared that I picked up these indoor/outdoor flag pillows from Pottery Barn. When I purchased them I must have glossed over the fact that they weren’t pillow covers like most of their pillows.
The jury is still out on if I love them enough to keep them or if I want to maybe just keep one of them. We’ll see. For now I thought one looked good here on the bottom of my small console table.
The blue and white stars pillow was a great Amazon find. It arrived the day after I filmed my haul video. I must say, for an inexpensive Amazon pillow it’s really good! The ones I chose are 20×20 and were right around $20.
Now that I’ve styled my entryway for the 4th of July my creative juices are flowing again! I’m excited to decorate some more this week and share more patriotic styling ideas.
