It’s been quite some time since I’ve shared a weekend watchlist. In case you’re new here, my weekend watchlist is where I share interior design inspiration that has caught my eye. Today we’re focusing on the holiday decor inspo since we’re officially in the holiday season! Let’s jump into my weekend watchlist holiday edition!
A big debate goes on every year in my household and online about when is the right time to decorate for the holidays. I’m team the earlier the merrier. Because I can’t decorate my whole house in a day or a weekend. It takes me a few weeks to decorate. Then after all of that work I want to enjoy my festive home for as long as I can.
But prior to sharing my decorating online I was more of a day after Thanksgiving kind of girl. Why there’s such a debate about it is beyond me. I say do what makes you happy. And studies show that people who decorate earlier are happier 🙂
I’m not sure about that…but in a hard time of the year, when you’re stressed about everything and it gets dark way too early…I say bring on the holly!

I can’t get enough Santa mugs! I’m always looking for ways to display them.
I love how simple this entryway is while still being festive. Love all of the greens and that’s coming from someone who goes all out with the reds for the holiday season!
I love how cozy and traditional this living room is for the holidays!
I’ve found myself gravitating towards lots of decor with floating shelves…I miss having my floating shelves especially during the holidays. You can see how I styled my floating shelves last year here.
Oh how I love gingerbread! It’s been pretty big in stores this year…I shared my gingerbread house collection in this video.
For more of a farmhouse style add rustic and vintage pieces to floating shelves to create a collected and curated look.
I’m obsessed with kitchens with built-in floating shelves. I can see them being so fun to style throughout the year!
Lately I’ve been obsessed with hot cocoa bars. We always set up a hot cocoa station but some that I see are so elaborate! This is a simple style that’s up my alley.
I shared this on my Facebook page when I saw it because if you’ve been around here for a few years you’ll recognize my MERRY pillow! I’ve had this pillow for years and it’s from Pier 1. Man I miss that store! I’d love this holiday plaid rug too!
I was inspired to create a similar look in my mudroom space. I’m working on it this weekend so come back to the blog soon to see how it turns out!
I think me and Sarah have similar decorating styles and I always like to see how she switches things up from year to year for the holidays.
Erin is like me and decorates every square inch of her home for the holidays! Including her office!
I have the pleasure of partnering with King of Christmas this year and if you haven’t seen on the blog and my YouTube, I have the Queen Flock Slim tree. But it was a tough choice between that and this King Noble Fir tree. I didn’t think I could get my family on board but I’m obsessed with it and maybe it’ll be my bedroom tree next year!
It also would make the perfect dining room tree!
While not this tall, I love to see how others decorate their Queen Slim Flock tree. This is more rustic farmhouse.
And this is more of an organic modern take. Either way it’s a beautiful tree!
Such a great roundup of holiday inspiration right? I hope these ideas have sparked your creativity and given you plenty of holiday decor inspo for your own home. Now let me get back to my own holiday decorating…I have one more tree to put up and a few finishing touches and then I can relax and enjoy it 🙂
