I did this a few weekends ago but didn’t get the chance to post the “after” pic. This is the first installment in my Mission Organization Series. The kitchen is one of my areas with the most amount of misused space. For a bit of background: we moved here due to need, a couple of years back when I lost my job, we were able to move into this duplex in order to save money. Would I have signed a lease here on my own? No, but we’re working with what we’ve got. So this kitchen didn’t work out for us from the onset. There’s a drawer that doesn’t work, the cabinet configuration doesn’t make the most sense, I could go on and on, but I won’t. So the first area I wanted to address are my cabinets.
This after picture makes me smile! Everything has it’s place. Everytime I open this cabinet it makes me feel good. This took less than 15 minutes to do. There was nothing to install. {it comes with a piece that can be attached to a door, but I haven’t used that yet} So for less than $15 and 15 minutes you can make a change in a space in your home. This is only the beginning! I have a problem with being a little scatter-brained sometimes…I will get gung ho with a project and then will go from room to room but never complete a space…so it’s a process.
Stay tuned for more because I’ve been real busy organizing our home!
