I wanted to share some ways to get started saving this year. Some of these I’m new to, and some I’ve mentioned before. The key to saving money is to know that you’re actually saving. Time is valuable too. I’m not one for spending a lot of time to get something for 20% off. It has to be worth my time and my effort and same for anything I would share with my readers. We’re all busy and all trying to make our money stretch the extra mile right? Speaking of valuable time…let’s get on with it already.
If you’re not already on my facebook page…you’re missing out big time. In the past I would go thru phases of postings, but overall when I post deals and coupons on facebook it’s because it’s quick and easy. I’m not a coupon aggregator site, so I don’t have fifty posts in a day. I don’t find it necessary nor do I have the time and ability to be able to post each deal on my blog. So with that being said…click here to go to my facebook page!
I also said all of that to say that I posted it first there on my page that as tradition goes… SUPER DOUBLES ARE BACK AT HARRIS TEETER starting 1/02/13!!!!! Now if you live in an area that does not have a Harris Teeter I am sorry. Another reason why I’m not a coupon blogger in that sense…I only can post about what I know and in my area the best for me is Harris Teeter. So anyway, yes at the beginning of the year for the past few years they’ve done Super Doubles and I posted on my page from my primary source, and usually this source is right. But I did further research and can super confirm the SUPER DOUBLES lol!!!
I’m really excited about it because now that I work a later shift, when coupon events occur, I can get out early and score some freebies!!
Recycle Bank: I have heard about Recycle Bank for maybe a year now. I think I just looked over it because I didn’t wanna bother with anything else. But this one is worth your five minutes. Because just by clicking a few yes’s here and there, and a few polls and quizzes, invite a few friends…next thing you know you’ve racked up enough points for rewards! My favorite that is my purpose for signing up, are the occasional Dollars Off coupons and/or giftcards for Harris Teeter! So if you wanna check it out, it’s completely free and you can rack up tons of points when you’re bored..click here.
Ebates: People for some reason still be sleeping on Ebates. If you shop online AT ALL you should be a member of Ebates. For no cost to you…you get paid to do what you were already going to do…shop. It’s truly not rocket science! So how does it work? Let’s say you want to get some clothes from NY&CO, here’s an example of how I would shop online:
- go to my email and see if I have a coupon code or sale email
- go to ebates.com and click on NY&CO
- see how much cash back I will get and look for any other coupon codes and or promoted sales
- click on NY&CO to go to the site…I’m now tracked via ebates to get my cash back!
- shop and check out as normal
- in a few days get an email of cash back update in my account
- invite friends
- every quarter get the previous quarter’s cash back in your paypal or have a check sent to you!
This isn’t in the savings category, but in the organizing category. If you’re like me, this is an area to get excited about too! lol Gotta get it done, why not get it done all the way and the right way! I decided to share a blog I recently started following. This post is perfect for wanting to get started on the right foot! Click here to go to Delightful Order!
