Don’t we all just love the star-studded cast of movies like this? They come out, you’re like, that’s my favorite actress/actor, oh and I love her too, this movie I must see! And then if you’re like me…you’re then a bit miffed. So there are a bunch of story lines, that kind of intertwine and they’re all relating to Valentine’s Day. Let me just say that for me to have to wait for this to be available on Netflix, which wasn’t until 06/15/10, and then to finally see it…I was let down. I remember all of the press for this movie and I just hate when things are overhyped. I gave this movie a 3 star rating. Which to Netflix means that I liked it, but to me it means I didn’t hate it but I didn’t like it either. I got one little sob off of this movie, and that was literally at the very end of this long 2 hour movie. I maybe laughed 3 times total. That to me, isn’t good. I mean, I guess this movie can appeal to a lot of audiences because of the multiple story lines, and it all does come together pretty nicely in the end. I guess I feel maybe it had 1 or 2 too many story lines, maybe some of the fluff stories could have been edited, that way it could have developed some of the other stories. Idk, just my opinion, I guess.
