That’s how I look at the work week…it’s a 5 day countdown to the weekend! I swear I am not feeling going to work this week, but it is what it is and I gotta do what I gotta do. This week I’m focusing on getting back to moving. I woke up and did my workout this morning. I did The Firm’s Total Body Time Crunch. It has an express workout option which I believe is 25 minutes. This workout is a strength-cardio interval workout, so the express option is just the strength training segments, which was what I wanted. The goal this week is to not try to do the longer workouts, so much as my goal is just to workout period! I’m feeling good about it. It’s mid-September and quite frankly, this year will be gone before we know it. I’m this close to being a size 12. My size 14 pants I can take off without unfastening, that’s how you know they’re really too big, but I need like one more inch and a half or so to be comfortable in a 12. So here’s to this week’s 5 day countdown…countdown for 5 workouts, countdown to the weekend. One good thing about how are weeks are going now, although they are exhausting, they seem to go by a little fast…with my hubby being in class three days a week, it kinda makes hump day come and go pretty quickly.
On a side note: one thing that really helps to get me going is the right music…and in honor of one of my favorite artists who racked up last night on the VMA’s Lady GaGa!!! I love love love her and love that she won like she did last night. 🙂
