I’m sharing some ways to save money today. Simple tips to score some extra savings.

Pick up some extra tips to score extra savings.
~ www.ppgazette.com is a coupon aggregator for RedPlum, Coupons.com, SmartSource and Valpak.
~ www.freesnatcher.com ~ check it on Fridays to get a list of coupons that will be in the Sunday papers. If the deals are really good, get more papers!
~ take a calculator with you to figure out which brand is cheaper by the ounce with the coupon amount deducted. Many times the brand name wins when you use the coupon. (this seems a bit labor intensive, so don’t take the kiddies with you)
~ ask the manager if the store takes expired coupons or price-matches competitors coupons. (Walmart price matches, many people don’t know that, just disregard the attitude of the cashier and save your money!!) Expired coupons, that will work better at a smaller drugstore of course than it would a big box store.
~ never throw out a coupon. Donate it to a food pantry, a women’s shelter, your co-workers…I do this myself. I will clip most coupons I see and then if it’s something that I may not use, why not give it to someone who will? You could start a coupon trade (as mentioned in a previous post).
~ snap up store specials. JCPenney, ShopRite, Target and other retailers deliver deals through their own mobile apps.
I hope you found some of these ways to save tips helpful. These are simple and easy, yet effective ways to save money. You can check out my other posts for saving money here.
