On the day after Christmas, there are tons of different things that one could be experiencing. You could be looking around your house at all the mess that the holidays have brought. And you could be wondering if the trash service will come today since you’re out of room outside with the trash bins. You could be comatose from all of the food you ate yesterday, or you could still be eating it. You could be out and about hitting up some after-Christmas sales; using those gift cards you got, exchanging the gifts you didn’t like. You could be travelling back to home or going to see those who you couldn’t squeeze in so far. All of these things and so much more could be what you’re doing on this day.
Let me tell you what I’m doing. I am doing the first thing on the list ~ looking at all of this mess, that I’ve pared down dramatically, and yet it’s still driving me insane. Not insane enough to actually do anything else about it tho. No, I’m too exhausted for that. My energy has literally been coming in spurts, so I have to wait for the next one!
I’m doing a lot of thinking and idea planning. Now that we’re in the last week of 2011 I am starting to think of the New Year. I’m also thinking about next Christmas. And I wanted to share some ideas and thoughts that I’m thinking of.
I would love to be out and about trying to snag some after-Christmas deals today. But frankly, the money was spent ahead of the Holiday so that’s not an option. Besides, I’ve been able to get many new Christmas items on sale already this year.
