Now is the perfect time to stock up on canned items in preparation for Thanksgiving. And I’m not referring only to those of you who are fixing the big dinner, I’m talking about everyone. This is the time of the year when you will find good deals on things you will need for cooking and baking. I wanted to do a quick post to show how you can stock up your pantry and save! And it doesn’t have to be with a couponing event.
Here’s what I got:
HT butter (2) $1.97
Int’l Delight creamer $2 [coupon 55 cents] = 90 cents
Chock Full of Nuts coffee $2.50 [coupon $1] = $1.50
Yakisoba Noodles (2) 59 cents [coupon $1 off 2] = 9 cents each
Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup (4) 74 cents [coupon 40 cents off 4] = 54 cents each
Swanson Broth cans (5) 59 cents [coupon 40 cents off 5] = 42 cents each
Del Monte canned vegetables (4) 72 cents [coupon 50 cents off 4] = 47 cents each
Reynold’s Wrap aluminum foil $3 [coupon 75 cents] = $1.50
Sister Schubert’s dinner rolls $2.50 [coupon 50 cents] = $1.50
Five Hour Energy $4
Angel Soft Toilet Paper $4.77
Everything I got was on sale.
Remember that everday coupons up to 99 cents will double.
I paid $24.45 before tax and saved $31.14. I saved 56% : )
I anticipate even more going on sale in the coming week as Thanksgiving draws nearer. I’m glad I’m filling up my cabinets. I was bummed that I couldn’t get my Advil deal because it was all gone and I couldn’t for the life of me find the brand of cottage cheese I needed. I will be going to another Teeter tomorrow to see if I can find it. I was happy to get free CVS brand acetaminophen since I didn’t get the Advil.
