Today was my first workout in week 2 of my 30 Day Shred Challenge. I can definitely feel a difference in doing the workout today. Me and the pushups still aren’t the best of friends…lol. I went up to 5lb weights for everything except for the lateral raise with side lunges. That’s just too much weight for me to do that many reps so I do the 3lb weights for those. I also felt like I was lifting my feet higher doing the butt kicks. I just overall felt like I had improved with the workout. And that makes me feel good. I definitely want to get some more cardio in though. Time is the issue at this point. I have been getting up a little earlier each day so that I can get the kids out earlier in the morning so I can get back home to get things done before work. So I’m trying to get to the point where a few days I’m doing Turbo Jam. I’m definitely feeling the results as well…today I wore a bra I ordered several weeks ago in 38DDD (yeah i know i got big bubbies) but it didn’t fit. I was bulging out of the top and it was too tight. Today I wore it and it feels great. And I’m loving it. That’s the pushups working for sure! I wore a pair of pants today that I can wear without spanx! These pants always need spanx, which I did wear today, but when I got home, I took the spanx off but kept the pants on while I read Brianna a story…and they fit! And not tight! So that’s definitely motivation for me to keep pressing on…especially during that first circuit!!
