The second wave of the all new Studio McGee Spring collection at Target launches this weekend! I’m lowkey excited! In case you missed it, I’ve already shared my top picks from the Spring 2022 collection. This Spring launch is huge and is being launched in phases. Phase one launched earlier in the month and the bulk of the collection launches on January 23, with a third launch in February.
Today I’m going to highlight as many great finds from the Studio McGee Spring 2022 collection as I can. I’ll leave out the outdoor line as most of that launches next month.
As I’ve looked online and browsed what is slowly trickling into my stores, I must say color me impressed! There’s some major Serena & Lily vibes with some of these pieces without the high price tag. I’m always here for the look for less and having good quality affordable home decor.

STUDIO MCGEE ROOM INSPIRATION
One of the best ways to see a collection is to see rooms styled. I’ve rounded up tons of room inspiration from the Studio McGee Spring collection. All of these images are courtesy of Target. Stay tuned to see how I’ve styled some of the new pieces I’ve picked up. I’ll be sharing here on the blog of course but there will be lots of room inspiration on my LTK. Be sure to follow me over there for exclusive content!
promontory cabinet with sliding doors · riverview wood frame spindle back chair · triangle ficus tree · set of rope balls · checkered resin box · rectangular woven magazine holder · light woven vase
This sliding door cabinet is beautiful! I think it would look great in a home office, dining room or living room. Even better if there were two or three of them.

ventura bench · lost creek printed paisley rug · woven striped knit throw blanket · arbon coffee table · olive potted arrangement · oversized woven lumbar pillow · stiped jute embroidered throw pillow · woven diamond jacquard throw pillow · cold beach framed art · rattan wrap arc floor lamp
The Ventura bench is similar to one Studio McGee has offered in previous collections. When I saw it in store I always wanted to bring it home with me but it has nowhere to go in my house! I think it would be great at the foot of the bed or in a mudroom space or entryway. Also I really love this blue paisley rug, which is saying a lot because I don’t care for paisley print.
palmdale woven door console table · arbon coffee table · triangle ficus tree · cold beach framed art · rockland hand knotted persian style rug
tripod floor lamp · oversized mini windowpane pillow · woven plaid throw pillow · woven jacquard floral pillow · oversized textured throw pillow
One of the things I really like about seeing these styled inspiration pictures with items from the Studio McGee collection, is the ability to see pillow combinations. I’m not very adventurous when it comes to pairing different patterns and prints so this is very helpful for me to see.

wooden mantel decorative mirror · ogden burled wood console table · olive potted arrangement · scalloped bowl
One of the items from the Studio McGee collection that’s on my list is this wooden mantel mirror. I think it will be perfect on my…you guessed it, my mantel! I have a gift card to use towards the purchase and I can’t wait to get it!
painted beach framed art · delle bookcase · small triangle ficus tree · wellsville handloom flatweave striped rug · brass bookends · woven box · wide white textured vase
I wanted to share another view of this sliding door cabinet for my design inspiration. I saw the triangle ficus tree in the store earlier this week and it looked really nice. I don’t need another tree, but I think I would like the smaller version for somewhere in my home.

STUDIO MCGEE BEDDING COLLECTION
New to the Studio McGee line this season is the introduction of their bedding collections! Including headboards and nightstands. I’m really excited about the bedding line! There’s tons of bedroom inspiration pictures but I’m going to share a few for you here. The rest will be on my LTK so make sure you’re following me there!
palmdale woven headboard · palmdale woven nightstand · decorative border cotton slub quilt · cotton slub quilt sham · stripe matelasse coverlet · stripe matelasse coverlet sham
Some of the bedding is available with the January 23rd release and the rest will be available February 13th.

I love this grid stitch cotton quilt and it comes in three different colors. It seems to be very lightweight, so don’t let the word quilt throw you.

raw edge hemstitch cotton slub comforter set · springville drawer nightstand · oblong woven texture tassel pillow · wispy sprig framed canvas set · large ceramic table lamp
The raw edge hemstitch cotton slub comforter is what I have my eye on from the Studio McGee bedding collection. I like this styled inspo photo to show me how to bring color into the bedding while keeping my comforter simple and white. (because I know nothing about these things) You can also get a glimpse of this three drawer nightstand that is giving major Serena & Lily vibes!

There’s really so many great finds in this collection! Recently on Instagram I was sharing how I don’t like to do what everyone else is doing or buy what everyone else is buying. Everyone is raving about a new hit show? Ehh I’ll pass. Everyone is going gaga about a piece of decor? Nah I don’t want it.
But what I’ve realized is that although I don’t like or want (or need) everything in a new line at Target, I don’t need to rebuff decor pieces simply because everyone else is buying it. If I like it, or think I might like it, I should go ahead and get it. For me. Not for anyone else. It’s my home afterall.
I say all of this to say that even though there are lots of popular pieces from Studio McGee (she knows what she’s doing) doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t go for what I like. Is this making any sense? Probably not.
There’s these popular woven boxes that I didn’t buy when they first came out. As I was seeing them styled in pictures more and more I realized they’d be perfect for my shelves. By the time I came to this realization they were hard to find, going in and out of stock.
Finally I was able to get my hands on them and I’ll share them in a future post. In the Fall, I got a couple of pieces from the Studio McGee collection and realized I didn’t love them. One of the items I took back the other I kept because I had thrown away the packaging already.
That’s the thing about home decor. It’s all trial and error. You have to try things out to see how they work in your space. Seeing how others style items definitely helps you to be able to visualize how it can work for you. Long story short…I’ve learned to try things out and not be so quick to dismiss items because they’re popular.
Hopefully this post (and maybe this long story) helps you to see what would work for you in your home from the new Studio McGee Spring collection. I personally love that there are so many decorating styles to choose from to incorporate with what you already have.
Below you’ll find everything I’ve shared from this post and more from the Studio McGee Spring line. I can’t link the whole site! But I hope you find it helpful that I link sources like this. I’d love to know what you pick up and how you style it! I’ll be sharing the same coming up soon!
